It looks like Samsung's next foldable phones will probably have the number "7" in their names. Two separate leaks from the company hint that the new models will be called the "Galaxy Z Flip 7" and "Galaxy Z Fold 7," which a lot of people were expecting.
The first leak came out last Wednesday when Samsung shared a teaser for a new foldable phone in the "Ultra" category, which is a first for them. They used an animated GIF that was later found to have the name "Galaxy-Z-Fold7-Z-Flip7-Pre-tease-Bartype_1920x1080.gif," confirming the names "Galaxy Z Flip 7" and "Galaxy Z Fold 7," as reported by PCMag and mentioned by Al Arabiya Business.
Qera Tech backed this up after noticing the same name popped up when they tried to save the GIF linked to Samsung's announcement about the new "Ultra" foldable phone on Wednesday.
While this might just be a temporary label, another leak from Samsung's Galaxy Store for apps confirmed it too. The store had a new app titled "Samsung Internet Browser for Fold7 and Flip7," which also showed the names of the two phones.
Many think Samsung will unveil the next generation of foldable phones in July, so it makes sense that these leaks about phone names are coming out now, which is pretty typical before big device launches.
