Bloomberg News shared on Sunday that Meta Platforms is talking about possibly investing more than $10 billion in the AI startup Scale AI.

The report mentioned that the deal’s terms aren’t set in stone yet and could change. Scale AI didn’t have any comments, and Meta hasn't replied to a request from Reuters for feedback made outside normal hours.

Founded in 2016, Scale AI focuses on data labeling and has support from big names like NVIDIA, Amazon, and Meta. Current estimates put Scale AI’s value at around $14 billion.

The company also has a platform that allows researchers to share AI-related info, with input coming in from users across more than 9,000 cities and towns.
